University of Colorado athlete Erin Clark (cross country) and Esther Lee (golf) were honored by the Sportswomen of Colorado for their 2015 performances.

Clark had an outstanding junior season. She led the Buffs in three of their five varsity races and in the two races she did not lead the team, she was CU’s second harrier. Clark was undefeated through the first two meets, winning her second straight Rocky Mountain Shootout and NCAA Pre-Nationals. Clark won the Rocky Mountain Shootout in 20:13, which was the sixth best time in course history and went on to take the title at pre-nationals in 20:00.5.

The Eugene, Ore., native was second for the Buffs at Pac-12s and regionals. She earned All-Pac-12 First Team honors with a fourth place finish at the conference meet, helping the Buffs defeat Oregon 45-51 to win their second Pac-12 team championship since 2011. At the NCAA Mountain Region Championship, Clark was again second for the Buffs, but placed third overall as the Buffs won the team title. Clark recorded her second All-American honor by placing 11th at the NCAA Championships, leading the Buffs to a second place team finish, their highest NCAA finish since 2006.
