BolderBOULDER celebrates 35 years with vintage tech tee
The BolderBOULDER 10k, presented by Crocs, the third largest running race in the United States, has announced its 2013 official race gear including a reintroduction of the Frank Shorter Running Gear technical tee. The 2013 tees are simple yet stylish, and give racers the choice between a few different vibrant colors, an option that hasn’t been available to participants since 1987.
“For our 35th running we wanted to shake things up and bring back colored BolderBOULDER shirt options,” said Matt Jenkins, Director of Marketing. “Against the richly colored backgrounds we went with simple, bold designs to make the gear fun to wear on a run or with a pair of jeans.”
The men’s tee options include a granite heather tee and a burnt orange Frank Shorter technical tee. Women have the choice between the plum colored tee and the amethyst colored Frank Shorter technical tee. For younger racers, there is a fun kelly green tee and kids will also have the option to order extra small and small Frank Shorter technical tees.
The 2013 gear was designed by Genesis Inc. out of Denver, CO who has been the primary creative agency for the BolderBOULDER since 1979.
Race registration includes choice of short sleeved, technical and long sleeved tee. The short sleeved shirt package is $50, the long sleeved package is $54 and the Frank Shorter technical tee package is $62. This year, registrants can also purchase the Bolder package for $75 and will include all three T-shirts. If race participants do not want a tee with registration they have the option to donate the T-shirt value to the CU Scholarship Fund or donate the T-shirt to Samaritans Purse, a humanitarian aid organization.
The 35th annual BolderBOULDER will be held on Memorial Day, May 27th, 2013. For more information please visit: www.bolderboulder.com
