The swim part of a triathlon can be the most intimidating part of the event. With preparation, tips on where to position yourself in the pack, and the right equipment, you will have success in open water. At this clinic, Eney Jones, Masters swim champion and former NCAA swim champion, will discuss:
- Swim drills that will help you practice sighting
- The importance of learning to breathe on both sides
- How to calm yourself if you panic
- How to pace your swim & relax your stroke
- The importance of finding a good fitting wetsuit and comfortable goggles
- How to put on and take off a wetsuit
