Why would a person put themselves up to the task of running for 24 hours or 100 miles?

Bike jocky Judy Freeman gets an inside perspective from a few of the participants at this year’s 24 hours of Boulder event held Oct. 17-18, 2009. Included are Noora Alidina – 1st in the Women’s 100 mile race who won in 23hours 02min and local Broomfield resident Bob Mercil who ran 78 miles.
