Luke Crespin and Andy Ames race to the finish.

The 9th annual Rattlesnake Ramble will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013. The 4.25 mile course is a Y with 2 out and back sections with 850 feet of climbing, mostly on single track. Race Director Bill Wright likes the idea of having out and back sections on courses.

Not only can you see what is going on at the head of the race, but you get and give encouragement to the other competitors. This camaraderie, I think, is unique to the trails. We’re competing of course, but we want everyone to do their best regardless and that support is so up lifting. –

The race is limited to 100 runners and is only $35 to enter and includes the price of a shirt, $20 without a shirt. Kids can race for $10. The proceeds benefit the Eldorado Canyon State Park.
