Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks is looking for 50 volunteers to help restore the East Boulder/White Rocks Trail in Gunbarrel on June 7th, for National Trails Day.

Restoration of this flood damaged trail will involve moving crusher fines with wheelbarrows then laying and shaping the trail surface. The project will last between 9am and 4pm and lunch will be provided. The work effort is moderate and volunteers can be as young as 14 if accompanied by an adult.

The East Boulder /White Rocks Trail was just one of the many trails affected by the floods in September 2013.
