The Boulder Road Runners Men’s 60-69 team won the 2017 USA Track & Field Masters Grand Prix National Championship race series title. The team won a gold medal in each of five races they competed in during the nine race series. A BRR team composed of Kyle Hubbart, Heath Hibbard, Chuck Smead, George Braun and Jan Frisby won the team’s last event of the USATF national championship series at the Tulsa Run 15K in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 28. BRR competed against 18 other 60-69 age group teams from across the country for the national championship title this year. Team members who participated in the other 2017 USATF Masters Grand Prix events included Jeff Barros, Doug Bell, Mark Donelson, Bruce Kirschner, and Dan Spale. The team finished second in 2016 and first in 2015 in Masters Grand Prix. Kyle Hubbart also won the 2017 USATF Individual Grand Prix for the 60-64 age group.
