The City of Boulder is pleased to announce that the Google Street View trike is coming to town. The Boulder Creek Path won the “Parks & Trails” category of Google’s Street View Special Collections Poll, a contest asking the public to vote for the places they’d most like to see on Google Maps.
Last month, Google asked the public to submit nominations for where to first send the new trike. And the Boulder Creek Path made it to the list of finalists in the “parks and trails” category. Now the paved path that snakes from Boulder Canyon along the creek to flats east of town will compete against paths in California, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington for first dibs on the picture-taking bike.
