After a cold first two months of the year, Coloradan’s were quite pleased by the warm welcome of March. Spring is just around the corner and there are plenty of clinics, training groups, and races this month to get you started in the right direction for a happy and healthy 2010.
Closing in on 100 days till the 32nd Annual Bolder Boulder, February means runners are gearing up to run in the 2nd largest 10k race in the US. Find out what it takes to qualify, join a group to train with, and find local qualifiers to get you seeded into the top waves.

I am not so great about keeping traditions. Its not that I don’t want to make and keep with them. I love the idea of doing something annually for the sake of consistency, meeting up with friends new and old, and now introducing my children to those things I love and feel are important. I believe this is the allure of the Turkey Trot as part of our holiday tradition.

The 5K invitational races are based on 10K finish times in the 2009 DICK’S Sporting Goods BolderBOULDER in two minute increments from 38 to 62 minutes. For example, runners who ran the BolderBOULDER 10K in 44:00-45:59 are invited to that ColderBOLDER 5K race.
