Last week All Sports Recovery Club expanded its offerings and its space to 3,000 square feet when it moved into the old Retul space adjacent to its current location. The new space which is still above Christy Sports at 2000 30th Street, Boulder boasts beautiful hardwood floors, a new reception/waiting area, a small store where you can purchase Mix 1, Athletes Honey Milk or self massage tools then opens up to the spacious Optitrack gait analysis and Altitude Contrast Training stations.
Professional athletes have access to a handful of specialists to keep them on their ‘A’ game. A team of massage therapists, coaches, chiropractors, recovery tools and services, gait analysis, blood lactate testing, and nutritionists. But what does the aspiring endurance athlete or the dedicated weekend warrior who is dedicated to training at a high level?
“Zen and the Art of the Easy Run” – I took it out a bit too fast yesterday. Headed out at a pace that felt comfortable at first then progressively got faster.
