The new integrated look of specialty running is here. The new Flatirons Running New Balance Run Hub is now open and aims to be a true community center for area runners. The spacious 8,000 square feet of space is highlighted by its huge curved dark grey shoe wall featuring the latest from New Balance, but the selection doesn’t stop there, with a myriad of running brands to choose from. The apparel selection has grown tremendously and again features the latest from New Balance including favorite gear from local running star Jenny Simpson. You will also continue to find a nice selection of tools for recovery, hydration, nutrition, socks, safety, and for everyday life.

Product selection aside, the what’s inspired is the breadth of wellness services they offer for runners. Everything from in-house body work every Tuesday provided by Boulder Bodyworker, Sports nutrition, physiological testing including sweat sodium concentration testing to training and recovery from eNRG performance. They will continue to find the right fit for runners with gait analysis and with custom inserts within an hour in their orthotics lab.

In the community corner you can relax in large comfortable leather chairs, enjoy some delicious OZO coffee from the coffee bar and browse their collection of local running books like the Boulder Running Journal from the bookshelves.

You can also be a part of the digital community by joining the Strava New Balance Run Club team where you compete against other New Balance groups from around the world. View team stats and running routes on a huge digital leaderboard in the middle of the store.

“New Balance wants to invest more in communities like Boulder for wellness and running and getting people moving,” said Henry Guzman, co-owner of Flatirons Running, which is retaining ownership of the shop and allowing New Balance to occupy floor space there. “Teaming with them was a no-brainer.”

Grand Opening

Come out to celebrating their grand opening Saturday February 6th from 6-9 pm. There will be appetizers, drinks, a D.J. and a fashion show featuring the latest in New Balance gear.
